The tempura is still delicious as always. Today, they were out of blackthroat seaperch, so we opted for redthroat instead. We were able to keep a bottle of sake opened by a previous customer at a discount. Surprisingly, the bonito sashimi is also delicious here, and my companion says the draft beer is tasty. Located in Ogocho, this restaurant serves freshly fried tempura at the counter, without leaving you feeling heavy. They are probably closed on Sundays. The premium alcohol prices are not marked up too high from market prices. The restaurant is run by a mother and son. I visited on September 24th. It had been a while since my companion wanted to come back, so we stopped by on our way home from work. Although the autumn saury is expensive this year, you can still enjoy grilled saury for only 600 yen.
I had the Otsuchi shamo donburi and tempura donburi. The location may be a bit difficult to find.
