Akash - Dacorum

I usually order takeout from local restaurants, but my neighbor suggested trying Akash. The food was excellent, well-cooked, and ready on time when I went to pick it up. I will definitely be using Akash again in the future.

We ordered a takeaway, when we got it home the order wasn't complete, the starter we ordered wasn't there. We phoned them to mention this and was told if we ordered the same meal again we wouldn't need to pay for it. Therefore we phoned them the following week to place the order and was told all they would do was to give us the starter that was missing if we collected it. We live about half an hour away so was not happy. Very poor customer service, will not be using them again.

This restaurant offers superb food, quick delivery, and reasonable prices. It's the perfect choice for anyone looking for a delicious Indian takeaway in Berko or the nearby area.

Amazing food that was delivered very quickly. Staff are lovely and friendly. First class service. Would 100% recommend our favourite takeaway!

The closure of the New Akash Restaurant was a disappointment for those of us in West Berkhamsted who had been loyal customers for many years. Since its closure, I have tried various other restaurants on the High Street, but none have compared to the meal I had tonight from Akash's takeout service, Phoenix from the Flames. The chef recommended the beef curry, which was truly the best dish I have had in the 30 years I have lived here. The flavors were so intense, reminiscent of my time living in East London. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised when I received two dinners delivered to my door for just £30. It was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be ordering again next weekend.
