Unfortunately, I have a gluten and sulphite allergy, which prevents me from consuming beer and wine. In the past, the restaurant has been understanding and allowed me to bring my own gluten-free bottles, charging a corkage fee. However, last night they rudely refused. I was shocked by their manner towards my wife. Thankfully, the staff at Cochin were incredibly accommodating and supportive. It saddens me as I have been a loyal customer since moving to Hemel. Unfortunately, due to the restaurant's rudeness and lack of willingness to accommodate severe food intolerances and allergies, it seems they have little respect for their guests. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
I recently dined with my girlfriend and her family at this restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was incredibly tasty, and as someone with gluten intolerance, I was pleased to find out that their curries and stir fries can be made gluten-free. The staff was very charming, friendly, and welcoming. We also appreciated the complimentary liqueur at the end of our meal. Considering the high quality of the food, the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future!
After previously only getting takeout, my party decided to dine in at this restaurant. We ordered from the set menu and also enjoyed a bottle of wine, both of which were great value for the price. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning in the future.
This is a cosy and welcoming venue where the good service is let down by the quality of the food. The mixed starters are greasy and bland, the green curry was very bland, the Massaman was bland and too sweet, while the stir fried lamb was tasty although too salty.
Food, restaurant, atmosphere, service price the best we’ve seen in a long time. Really recommend Chiangmai for eat in takeaway.
