In the case of supplemental salad, less clear is more and a finished dressing is misplaced. There is obviously little craftsmanship at the plant. Too bad.
We were not there for the first time on 15.06.2019. The map from the previous year was reduced. There was a whole plaice with potato salad and salad for just 19,00 € before (now 2 months ago), there are now three small taste-neutral shell fillets for the same price. The filets were frit and washed in taste, i.e. it is obvious that they were not fresh. The Matjes with the roast potatoes was also a disappointment. The roast potatoes were too oily and tasteless, unfortunately this must also be said to the sauce for the matjes. Shame!
We were the 1st on Friday May 18, 2018. Once there for dinner, the super nice and attentive staff ensured a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the homemade dressing for matjes was absolutely nix. Fish was fresh as if he was just swung in the water, for that the roast potatoes were as if they were still swimming, but unfortunately in the oil!!!...... So the first and last time.
In the oysters, we were stumbled by chance, something completely different. Our food baked oysters and other seafood were not only pricey, but also tastefully outstanding; That the very friendly host of his wine also from Eltville we are at home in Mainz and from a winery known to us was an occasion for a nice conversation that was still crowned by a mild and juicy vault. The fish and other marine animals in the area of the bare had not been long enough! The staff was friendly and attentive. If the host had left me the recipe, I missed asking for it...
