Papa's Place - Dahlonega

We love this little gem. Always get great service.The food is good the prices are good ..NEVER had a bad experience here. I guess there is a chance somebody might get something to their not liking however I have never had that problem. Thank you for your service to our little town Papa's .

The service was wonderful they cared for us well, the food was super yummy and at a really good price! It took a while to get our order but considering the size of the restaurant and the size of our party it’s understandable. Otherwise everything was great!

First time at this place, I hear the one in Dawsonville is good. My husband ordered the papa's special burger. Said it came with brown gravy over fries. It was a sloppy mess, smothered in a half gallon of instant brown gravy. His side was macaroni salad. It was soured, the manager said it was made the night before. (Sure) she said she would change it for a different side, he asked for applesauce thinking there's no way they can mess that up, but they didn't have it. He asked mashed potatoes and gravy (don't know why cause he had a gallon of gravy on his plate). Of course they were instant too. My BLT came out with a head of lettuce on it and hardly any bacon. Sent it back for more bacon. Bacon was cooked to death and like eating shards of glass. My husband could hear me chomping on it. Only ate half of my sandwich, and half of the squash casserole which looked dark and burnt and full of grease. We won't be back. And if a manager or cook can't realize this food looked like slop, there's a problem. I wouldn't even serve that gravy burger slop to my dog. They need a new manager or the owners need to hang it up. They may do good for breakfast, looks like they are popular for that. It was a laugh for us, but honestly wasn't too funny cause this slop cost almost $27. $8.99 for BLT and small bowl of greasy squash casserole. I would be ashamed. See photos.

Devin was our server and he was awesome. The restaurant was clean and everybody was so friendly. The food was delicious and the coffee was great. I highly suggest this place to eat. Thank you Devin for great service and keeping our coffee cups full. You did an amazing job ?

Our family loves this place and also the one they have in Dawsonville. Their breakfasts are great and very well prices. We often go through the drive-through later in the afternoon and pick up some of their huge salads to go. Again, just an excellent place with great food and wonderful servers.
