Mk Bbq

This restaurant is a great spot for authentic Cantonese cuisine, especially the delicious roasted duck and char siu. We ordered the combo with both items, along with beef curry, house veggies, and a pork rice plate. The pork rice plate was a rare find outside of Hong Kong. The milk tea and lemon tea were standout drinks, and the $3.50 price with free refills made it worth it. While prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food definitely justifies it.

On Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, I had dinner at MK Bbq Cafe in Rowland Heights. I ordered a custom dish of shredded Char Siu pork, bean sprouts, and vegetables in wet Chow Fun, which hit the spot every time. Derrick, the service staff, was hospitable and even remembered my name when I arrived. It felt great to be recognized by the service staff. On Friday, March 15th, 2024, I had dinner at MK Bbq Cafe again and ordered the "wet style" BBQ pork Chow Fun to see how authentic it was to Hong Kong style, and it did not disappoint. The BBQ pork was soft and savory, and the Chow Fun had a good char from the blazing fire and wok. I have visited this restaurant many times and the food is always delicious and authentic. Lily and Derrick provided great service, and Lily even gave me a lemon ice tea on the house. On Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, I dined at MK Bbq Cafe with my son and enjoyed satisfying Hong Kong style food. Derrick, the service staff, was friendly, cheerful, and attentive. On Sunday, February 25th, 2024, I had lunch at MK Bbq Cafe and once again enjoyed delicious and savory Hong Kong style food. I highly recommend this restaurant as the food is finger-licking good. On Tuesday, February 6th, 2024, I had lunch at MK Bbq Cafe with my cousin and enjoyed various authentic dishes, including roasted pork, Peking duck, soy chicken, won ton soup, and curry dry stir-fried rice noodles. Lily, the service staff, was very attentive and kept refilling my ice tea without me even asking. Finally, on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, I had lunch at MK Bbq Cafe with my colleague Benny for his birthday. We enjoyed a variety of Hong Kong style dishes that were hearty and savory. The service staff was friendly and attentive, and I highly recommend trying this restaurant. David Young, Restaurant Enthusiast.
