This casual restaurant serves a mixture of dishes from various cultures, including Italian (pizza, Mediterranean (kebabs, lamb , Indian (Indian pizza! , American (hamburgers, burgers , English (roast beef , and other sources. As a result, while it serves variety, the kitchen hasn't mastered any of the dishes. The result: bland flavors, mediocre food. However, in the absence of serious competition, it is pretty much the best place in town. It offers take-out and delivery. Prices are moderate.
Our family (2 adults 3 teens) was hungry and we were half way between Voss and Bergen. We saw a fork and knife sign along the highway and by luck stumbled into this restaurant. The owner was super friendly--he's a Kurdish man who's been in Norway for 20 years. After working as a hotel chef for 6 years, he opened this pizza and grill restaurant. We enjoyed the roasted chicken and the diced beef tenderloin and vegetables dishes. The menu offers huge variety and the chef is very accommodating of substitutions. All told, we had a delicious meal here and were glad we stopped by for lunch.
This is the best food you can find for like 200 KM, so you can best stop here! Voss has relatively few good options. The owners are very nice humble people and the menu is extensive. A medium pizza is definitely enough to share for two people. The picture is the Kebab Pizza.
Very good looking place with even better looking food. The pizza tastes very delicious and is worth every crown it costs.
I ordered Kebab. Extra strong with Jalapeño. Good taste. Good materials. But it could improve the taste of the sauce. But the kebab really tasted authentic and made at home. All wary happy.
