This is a temporary review. In August, the café offers everything at half price. I recently enjoyed a few days of brunch, with prices around £2.80, which included a hot or cold drink. I'm pretty confident I couldn't make breakfast for less than that!
I would rate this café 3 to 4 stars. It's a charming little spot where I was able to find a place to sit with my 4-year-old. However, the food mostly felt and tasted like it had been reheated a bit too much. The coffee, cakes, and small cartons of milk were just okay.
The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. This café is quite popular among local shoppers, but it's definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, especially the macaroni and cheese and garlic bread. The portion sizes are generous, making it great value for money. Although the café is smaller than other similar places I've visited, it is very clean and offers a view of the bustling road outside. There’s a bus stop right in front, and a lovely park across the street. Additionally, there are plenty of parking spaces available for those who drive.
Great meal at a good price.
