Aldeez Caribbean, - Dallas

I've been dining at this restaurant for four years, and those years have generally been wonderful. However, my experience at the new location was quite uncomfortable. The music was excessively loud, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. Additionally, I didn’t appreciate that they turned off all the lights in the dining area while people were still eating; it would be better to keep the lighting dim instead. My last review gave them five stars, but with these recent changes, I had to adjust my rating. I was disappointed with my takeout order of curry chicken, peas and rice, and jollof rice on December 3, 2022. Unfortunately, everything tasted off, as the recipes seem to have changed. The presentation of the food was also different, and to top it off, my meal had a burnt flavor.

Discovered this place 3 weeks ago and Ive already been 4 times. The food is GOOD. They make a really good Jerk Chicken among other things. Nice venue with patio (formerly Zenna) and good service. Apparently it turns into a club at night too.

I loved everything about this place! From the food to the dance floor, it was fantastic. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing, especially the Jerk Chicken. I will say, though, that it wasn't as spicy as I expected and could use a bit more flavor, but the chicken was incredibly moist. I also enjoyed the mix of music, spanning from Caribbean to Afrobeats. Overall, I had a great time!

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant, and the friendly atmosphere makes it even better. If you’re in the mood for some delicious African or Caribbean cuisine, this is definitely a place you should check out—thank me later! My experience met all my expectations; the oxtail was exceptionally good. A big thank you to everyone involved in the preparation!

The food is worth it however the service is HORRENDOUS! I’ve been 3x and each time the service has been soooooo slow or the waitresses act like they don’t see you. This last go round it took our server over 1 hr and 30mins to take our order then gotan attitude for not coming back within 45mins and we told her my friend didn’t like the drink. She rolled her eyes, gave anattitude and walked off. This time she never came back. I requested to speak with the manager 4x and waited about 40mins for herto come and demanded we got our hookah and food free based on the circumstances we had to ensure that night. They really need toget their waitresses under control. I will not be back until that happens
