Surprisingly, we both enjoyed the crispy onions on top, even though we're usually not big fans of onions. It was a nice touch. My Bratwurst was tasty, but the bread and vegetables didn't stand out. The potato salad was unexpectedly delicious. My boyfriend found the Chicken Schnitzel Cordon Bleu a bit overwhelming. The beers were decently priced and not bad. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the restrooms were clean. I loved the ambiance of the place, with its picnic tables. I would definitely come back here with friends.
What a fun place to bring the family. Games galore make this place a fun place to hang out with or without the kids. Food was good and the beer reasonably priced. The pretzel was good but not the best I've ever had
This cozy restaurant boasts lovely decor, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service. The beer selection is good, although adding more dark beers to the menu would be a nice touch. The food menu is concise but offers tasty shareable snacks and a few main dishes. The cheesecake was a standout dessert option. The 4pm opening time was slightly inconvenient for my convention schedule, but I managed to make it work for a couple of visits. Overall, this place comes highly recommended if you're in the area.
On a bustling Sunday with a volleyball tournament in full swing, I was fortunate enough to get a table quickly at the restaurant. The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering, impressing me with their efficiency. In addition to German beer options, they also offered local favorites like Deep Ellum. I opted for a Franconian Amber from Texas, which was a delicious choice.
Good beer, good food, great service! Totally doesn't deserve just 3.8 stars
