Excellent spot for authentic tapas. The white anchovies, either fried or marinated in olive oil, are excellent, reminded us of our trip to Barcelona. The beef steak on skewer has a delicate taste of herb. I think overall, the food just need a touch moreseasonings. My wife did say the sangria could use more wine or a higher quality wine to bring out the flavor.
An institution in the area. The only established tapas restaurant in the Dallas area. Typical selection. The Red Sangria is better than the white sangria.
Cafe Madrid is the second Spanish tapas restaurant that I have ever tried and is the best one out of the two. We had the Gambas Al Ajillo, the Croquetas De Manchego Y Espinacas, and the Pollo marroquí. Loved them all but being a fried food lover, myfavorite were the Croquetas. I hope they add Chicken Croquetas to their menu as well. We had the Honey Almond Nougat Ice Creamfor dessert, which was not bad but I have had better. Good wine collection. Great ambiance, great service, great food.
It's ok, good place but kinda pricey, good for hang out and eat small bites, tapas are that, small bites, and wine, if you are hungry then probably you will spend like $150 ? 200 with someone, the only big plate is the paella, I was expecting more seafoodon it, but it was more rice than shrimp.
