Chimalma Taco - Dallas

The food and staff were AMAZING! I ordered the carnitas tacos and absolutely loved them. However, I would caution others about the parking lot next door. The rate of $10 per hour is already quite high, and if you're late—as the county office is notorious for making you—you’ll end up with a boot on your car that costs $150 to remove. I tried to explain that I had to stop at the county office, which delayed me more than I anticipated. While $150 may not be a significant amount for some, for me, as someone who travels for work to support a newborn at home, that’s a lot of money that could have gone to formula. If this is the kind of partnership Chimalma has, I might reconsider returning, which is disappointing because I truly loved their food.

Great little taco place, little pricey but it is down town dallas. But tacos are fantastic.

Delicious Mexican food haute cuisine, great flavours, creative cocktails, good ambiance, excellent service. I recommend this restaurant specially if you are visiting John F. Kennedy memorial at downtown Dallas. Tx.

Authentic-ish but overall just very bland. Meh. Didn't care for the food. Service was great though and the place was super clean.

This restaurant offers truly authentic Mexican cuisine. Our server was exceptionally helpful, taking the time to explain the dishes and suggest options, which we greatly appreciated. We sampled the enchiladas and ceviche, both of which were packed with flavor. The portion sizes were generous for the price. Plus, it's conveniently located near the JFK Memorial Plaza.
