Coal Vines - Dallas

I had a wonderful time at this Coal Vines restaurant on Sunday. The appetizers, pizza, and desserts were all delicious. The service was excellent too. I will definitely be returning.

The food was delicious and we had a great time. We had a wonderful date night.

I absolutely love this restaurant it's like a slightly cheaper Grimaldi's with slightly thinner crust. The sauces are amazing and authentic, and it tastes like New York! The restaurant has a casual but nice vibe and it's pretty dim inside but still charming. Service is always great and they have a huge selection of wine! I love the appetizers and the customization choices for the pizza and the price point is really great for the quality you get!! A

Great service and food was good. Easy to get in and out

I appreciated that they accommodated my request for a specific table, but the hostess/manager mentioned it was just because she was having a good day. I ordered and paid for a bottle of champagne before our party of 7 arrived, but when it was time to serve it, the waiter could only find 3 glasses. The hostess/manager was preoccupied with a guest on her phone nearby. Fortunately, only 3 of us wanted the champagne. The waiter took our orders, but my specific item was not delivered. He never realized I was the only one without food. Since he took so long to return, it didn't make sense to have it brought out, so I just made sure it wasn't on the bill. The food was still good, but the service has gotten worse in the past year. I won't be returning anytime soon.
