Desert Racer - Dallas

My party was sat next to a group of kids. We asked to move times and were forgotten about each time. The service was awful, it took minutes just to be greeted and put a drink order in with our server (who just complained she was “so busy” the entire time). We ordered appetizers and meals- the appetizers never came out and our meals came out before we ever even got water at the table. Food and drink orders were both wrong and the server knew it and told us “sorry, we’re too busy tonight” and never offered to fix it. Totally understand that the restaurant was busy and understaffed- probably best to state that and not keeping seating/taking reservations, then.

The restaurant was incredibly loud, and they even turn the music up louder halfway through dining. Tacos served on little paper boats made it hard to eat, and fish tacos were so so, one was undercooked. I just ate the beans and rice. Probably won’t go back unless it’s for drinks only. Atmosphere is cool

Seated promptly, didn’t really need a reservation on Sunday. Food was really good…especially the queso

Solid. Lacking on margarita menu. Ordered apps that came out after meal.

Food was delicious, service was great and it was really cool inside
