Don Pepe's Rancho Mexican Grill

I still give this restaurant a 5-star rating. The customer service is incredible! We had a tough day, so we decided to indulge in some of Don Pepe's delicious food. When we got home, we noticed that our meal had the wrong sauces. They promptly fixed the issue. Thank you!

I decided to have dinner at this restaurant one night. The atmosphere inside was very nice. The waitress was able to provide recommendations as I cannot handle spicy foods. The tortilla soup was amazing! The broth was so flavorful. The steak tacos were also great, and the shrimp fajitas were cooked to perfection. This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant that is family-owned and operated. I will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu.

I dined at this restaurant for the first time based on a recommendation and enjoyed my experience enough to return two weeks later. However, I found some of the portion sizes, such as rice or vegetables, to be quite small for the price of the dish. Additionally, both times I visited, I had the same waiter who provided zero customer service - I didn't even learn his name. Despite this, everything else was satisfactory.

This is our top spot for the classic Tex sex in the richardson range. we love to go to sueño to the street from our home for more uplifted drinks/food, but this is a much more relaxed place that has its classic dishes and a good happy hour. we never have the original location to visit before it closed, but this place is great and great for families with the park in the middle. their terrace is something lacking compared to the other restaurants close to, but we were told that they will expand it when business appears a bit.

Horrible experience with take-out tonight. Was told 20 min for my order when I called. I arrived at that time and was lied to at least three times about the status of my order. Needless to say they didn’t even put it into the kitchen until I had already been there another 20 min (the host confessed she was too busy to get my ticket to the kitchen).I asked to speak to the manager who wouldn’t even make eye contact or talk to me. Was charged full price for my order after waiting 50 min for a call-in.Worst part was that people that had been seated while I was waiting on my take-out order got their food before my order was ready.Will be quite some time before I return. Clearly there is no care for customers as there were multiple opportunities to correct the problem/apologize and it never happened.Unfortunate as the food is spectacular.
