Howard Wang's Uptown China Brasserie

It was pretty good. we never had a waiter. they made an extra effort to fit us, but we didn't know who to tap because several people served us.

The food is average. I ordered soft shell crab (fine), mixed vegetables (fine), sea bass (quite good), and hot and sour soup (not good at all).

Although the service was a bit slow that night, the food was exceptional and the staff was attentive.

Overall good, but I think there are better Chinese food choices in Dallas for a lower price. The staff were all very attentive and nice. The calamari was excellent as was the fried rice. The duck and spicy crispy beef were underwhelming but not terrible.

New Years Eve dinner. Good food but service was poor. Have been eating here off and on for several years. Always good quality food and first time for poor service. I’m assuming not prepared for high volume of customers. I will give them one more chance.
