Contribuisci feedbackExtremely let down by our experience. We arrived for our reservation, which had been booked weeks in advance, only to find the door locked and the place looking deserted. Their phone system is automated, making it impossible to speak to anyone directly. There was no information provided on their website or social media about any unexpected closure. It was incredibly frustrating to not have been notified of any changes, especially since they had our contact information from confirming the reservation the day before.
This restaurant permanently closed just over a week ago. We arrived at our reserved time only to find the restaurant closed with no prior notification via email or phone call. Our anniversary night was essentially ruined. It's unclear whether this is a fault of OpenTable or if Kent Rathbun is unable to sustain a successful restaurant concept, as every restaurant he has opened has closed.
The food was excellent, the server was attentive, and the bartender upstairs was fantastic while we waited for our meal. However, once we were seated at our table, our orders were delivered at different times, with one person receiving their entree 10 minutes before someone else. This was quite strange. We later found out that this was their last night open at this location. Despite the timing issue, the food was delicious and we ended up enjoying every bit of it.
I picked a bad time to reserve because apparently they were closing shop the next day. That being said they were short staffed, out of everything on the menu, and the food didn’t taste fresh. I wouldn’t take a date back there again one of the worst “nice” restaurants I’ve been to.
Good food, great presentation, outstanding service.
