We both agreed that the fried rice is the best we've ever tasted! Honestly, I could eat here every week! Now, let's talk about the drinks! I'm a fan of Old Fashioneds, so I had to try their version. I ordered the Bangkok Cowboy—a Thai coffee with pecan and coconut-infused bourbon, smoked and served over ice. Oh my goodness, it was incredible! It was super smooth, and even my girlfriend loved it. Trust me, these drinks are top-notch! Ladies, if you're looking for something sweet, you have to try this drink: Fly Me to the Moon—a delightful mix of vodka, mango puree, butterfly pea flower, infused coconut rum, and lime juice. It's a must-try! Highly recommended!
We ordered pad see ew with shrimp (spicy level 3), lamb curry, wings as an appetizer, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The pad see ew was absolutely delicious—I would give it 10 stars on Yelp if I could! There were eight jumbo shrimp in the dish, so the shrimp-to-noodle ratio was 2:1, which is incredible. You rarely find that in NYC or Austin, where I live. I also loved the eggs and vegetables included. Unlike most pad see ew I've had, which tends to be really oily, this one was not. This dish is definitely a MUST-ORDER! The curry was also very good, with a generous portion. However, I usually prefer spicier curries, and their yellow curry was on the sweeter side. The mango sticky rice was fantastic—just like the ones I had in Bangkok. The wings, as an appetizer, were the only dish I wouldn’t rate five stars. While the sauce was tasty, the wings were a bit on the dry side. The restaurant's ambiance looks really nice based on the reviews. I would definitely like to visit for indoor dining soon!
Fantastic Thai cuisine! The appetizers were delectable, and the main courses were exceptional. My fiancée chose the pad kee maw and the Tom Kha soup, while I went for the red curry. The flavors were rich and perfectly captured the essence of Thai food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and open, creating a vibrant ambiance. It features an open bar with seven seats, and even on a Wednesday night, it has a nice flow of patrons without feeling overcrowded or noisy. The staff is incredibly attentive, providing excellent customer service and ensuring every detail is looked after. Our meals were served promptly. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable. Thank you, Ka Thai, for a delightful first experience; we will definitely be back!
This is my favorite place to eat at! I get the exact same things because I can’t get over it. The staff is extremely welcoming and the scenery is beautiful, something that you can’t get enough of. I would say I’m going back but I’m always there, definitely a recommendation. My boyfriend loves to try different food and everything is wonderful there isn’t something there that he doesn’t like.
Decent Thai food spot. A little bit pricy and the portion sizes aren’t great. Pad Thai was good, but was lacking a little bit of that umami and salty touch that the best Pad Thais have. The spring rolls were excellent, just make sure you ask for extra sweet chili sauce as the amount given isn’t enough for the 4 Spring Rolls that come in an order. The staff were extremely bubbly and nice which is always nice to see. The restaurant itself has a nice interior, pretty spacious, in a nice part of Uptown. I would recommend coming here if you aren’t that hungry or if you had a snack before coming.
