Lalibela Restaurant Bar - Dallas

Delicious and delightful! This was my first visit, and I'm so glad I decided to try the food. The veggie platter and the four meats were perfect for two people, bursting with flavor. The food provided such a comforting experience. The service was outstanding, and the honey wine was simply superb. To top it all off, the coffee was a lovely conclusion to the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

When the food was served, my sister discovered a bug crawling in her dish. She quickly removed it and placed it on her napkin. I showed the bug to the server, who graciously took the napkin and returned to apologize. She then brought my sister a fresh portion of the dish, this time in a small bowl, and cleaned off the injera while apologizing once more. Shortly after, what I assume was the owner approached us to express her apologies as well, but she did not offer to refund any part of the meal. I’ve never been to a restaurant where, after finding hair or a bug in your food, you didn’t receive at least a partial refund. We weren't expecting the whole meal to be comped, but a small gesture would have made all those apologies feel more sincere. So, be sure to inspect your food before you dig in!

This family always looks after us whenever we visit Dallas. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. They offer both dine-in and take-out options.

The owner is not talking aside from other companies gave as negative never go back there.

Another great Ethiopian restaurant. Was a little disappointed they didn't have the meat combo. But the veggie combo and the chicken doro wot was authentic and delicious. The tej wine was different, I liked the fermented and the hoppy flavor.
