This is one of those places that surprises with its authentic and traditional flavor,
I’ve been holding back on putting a review because this place was always my “go to” for so long. Then, it got sold to a new owner and slowly things changed. A few times the staff laughed at me and refused to help me because I don’t speak Spanish . When I call to make an order, if I don’t speak Spanish they hang up on me. Well, today was my FINAL straw and that sucks because I do adore their food… until now. I will enclose a video. Today, I ordered a burrito with everything in it. I guess they took that literally. I like to cut my burrito in half and add the chips and salsa they give and eat it like a taco bowl. Today was no different. However, as I was digging in and enjoying my food- I stumbled onto something hard. I felt around and it was a damn metal bread tie in the center of my burrito! Are you fan kidding me?! If I ate that, I could have gotten seriously hurt. I now ate something contaminated with metal and plastic. I will be seeking legal help. So damn gross!
This establishment went down. The taste and quality of food is not worth the price.Coffee tastes burnt not freshly brewed. [Or maybe machine needs to be cleaned]Agua fresca was subpar.Chips taste off. Please go back to the original drawing board for a traditional Mexican restaurant.Today I'm giving Menudo a try.
Very slow service, we were only 2 people. There was no one else in the place, it took more than 30 minutes to bring breakfast. And they only served coffee when we asked for it and one more cup when they brought breakfast.
