We waited quite awhile and all of a sudden a woman brought our food out and slammed it on the table and didn't wait to see if we needed anything. The meat was **** rare with blood on the plate and our veggies were missing. We watched for someone to help us but to no avail. I had to get up and go search for someone to help us. No one seemed to care and we needed steak sauce and a refill on our coffee. It took forever to get the veggies. The cook forgot to cook them. I had to search out someone again to help us. We are not demanding people just like to have a little service and food prepared the way we order it.
I have eaten many times at Murphy's Grill and I enjoyed it that is why I went there recently. I don't know what happened, but their Fish and Chips taste worse then frozen fish sticks from Safeway. when you pay the kind of money that they are charging for this dish, you would expect some quality. In the past it was fine. Don't know why they are serving fish mush now.
The Murphy' on Forest Lane, Dallas TX is run by thugs. Worst experience in service when they over-billed my card for drinks I didn't take. Manager was also not co-operative and tried to dodge the issue by pretending to investigate the over-charge and protecting his thieving cashiers. They are very unprofessional and steal from customers and avoid issuing receipts so that they can alter the amounts when u leave.
We really enjoyed our meal there a couple of days ago. We've been there many times so I thought we should leave a review so people realize how great this place really is. The food was very fresh tasting; lots of choices for both kids and adults. We have 2 very picky eaters in our family who LOVE this place; this is where they always ask to go for their birthday dinner. They get a really yummy treat too! I would certainly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Here's my beef with most of the eateries in Oregon. Dinner last night, only 3 other tables, so not busy at all. The muzak was an emo station (not a good choice) much too loud. Three at our table, my wife ordered the fish chips, my son the country steak (salad w/ ranch dressing), and I had a steak (steamed veggies, baked potato). The drinks salad arrive, and the server gives the salad to my wife, not my son... easy enough for us to correct, but strike 2. Dinner arrives, looks good, except I have no baked potato. We're asked if there's anything we need, and I have to remind our server.... strike 3. Then the cleanup starts, vacuum floor sweep, after we had just gotten our food. It's too bad, because the food was very good, but the lackadaisical attitude stymies me.
