Great food tentative service. I'm looking forward to returning.
From the moment we walked in for our date, the mouthwatering aromatic spices swept right into our souls. In no time, the most delicious Lebanese dishes were filling us with the same pleasant excellence as every person we spoke to at Open Sesame Grill took care of us with. The lush green and cool Lebanese vibe is palpable. Superb spot! Vegetarian options: Incredibly crafted and delicious salads and appetizer options Dietary restrictions: We dined without pistachios Parking: Free limited parking by front door, but area is walkable so the spots don't fill up much. Street parking near back and sides.
Middle Eastern food is my favorite and this is hands down the best place that NAILED IT. The food was incredible. I got a mixed grill plate with chicken and beef. The meet was juicy and not greasy. I got tabouli and baba ghanoush for sides, and they were the perfect flavor to pair with my dish. I also ordered mint tea, and it came in this pretty “kanaka” as I call it, just like we would serve it back home. Can’t get over that chicken ?
In my opinion, this place is a hidden gem. We have been eating here for years and the quality seems to have actually improved in the past year or so. The staff here have always been nice to us. We usually eat here around 3pm so we beat the dinner crowd. I recommend dining in instead of ordering pick up if you can. They updated the interior and it looks very hip and cozy. It's a place you just want to take your time and enjoy. The beef kafta is amazing. I also really love the Shish Tawook and the Shawarma (when they have it). They have been adding appetizers to the menu and nothing so far has disappointed. One of my favorite places to eat in Dallas!
