Republic Texas Tavern - Dallas

The dining room is beautiful, and the service is friendly and attentive. While not every item on the menu is exceptional, the Texas river fish was very good, and the bread pudding dessert was delightful. The pricing is reasonable for the overall experience. For one appetizer, two main courses, one glass of wine, and one dessert, we spent $100 plus tip. It's an excellent place to enjoy a meal with friends in a wonderful atmosphere.

This is the epitome of a restaurant if a successful chef/restauranteur wanted to build a place next to his home. Service was attentive, kind, meticulous, and downright friendly. Food was so good, I didn’t want to share. Menu extremely diverse, and adaptive to any appetite range. A place where everything is great tasting, and it’s because of the thorough sourcing and meticulous preparation of the food.

The ambiance here is incredibly cozy, making it a perfect spot to hang out. The food is outstanding; we tried the poblano cheese dip, and it was fantastic. The chicken fried steak was tender and savory, topped with a delightful gravy infused with jalapeños and bacon—absolutely delicious! My friend ordered the Dr Pepper ribs, which were incredibly tender and finger-licking good! I can't wait to return for a more relaxed visit instead of just a work lunch.

What a fantastic atmosphere! The food was amazing, and the bar selection was impressive. The truck stop burger was incredibly delicious—definitely one of the best I've ever had. The pastrami was some of the finest I've tasted. Plus, the patio dining was lovely!

Wonderful and very attentive staff. Greeted with smiles and kindness. The deviled eggs were so good and that smoked Pastrami sandwich is the best I've every had. Would highly recommend lunch or dinner here. The entire place was great.
