Ruth's Chris Steak House - North Dallas

My wife had the nativity. I had the lambs. both were a bit undercooked, but we enjoyed our dishes very much (I sent my back to heat for a little more time and it came back even better! I had seen some reviews about this situation under renovation. that is still the case, but not almost as bad as the described reviews (the men's and women's dressing rooms both work. we were welcomed in time, sitting before our reservation time, and were visited immediately. Jonathan was our server. he was spectacular. contempt and timeless, without vibrating. he was dedicated and knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions (my wife is celiac . a wonderful culinary experience!

I did it in ruth chris at least twice in the month, so I am very annoyed on the service it was my 27th birthday and we were treated terrible and they would think after we spend 2 thousand dollars on a register card, we would be better treated, we had kept it still 45 minutes to get a table, then the waitress was so rude and we had to ask ourselves about

We came for an early reservation and restaurant was empty. hostesses were very unfriendly and let us wait 15 minutes for our table. we sat on a table next to a very big loud party. waited for one because for a server. our steaks were excellent except I ordered medium and it was very rare. some think we never brought our server. when we left the hostesses/manager, it was not necessary to thank us for this. we eat weekly in high-end restaurants and this is one of the worst experiences we had in a very long time.

Our wedding anniversary steak dinner began beautifully with personal greetings and rose petals on table. We ordered good wine and the “special” steak/shrimp dinner with salad, loaded baked potato, Brussels sprouts and dessert. Food service throughout evening was mediocre. Service turned downward as bottom of fresh pepper mill fell into my wife’s lap while server was grinding onto her salad. Server said she would receive a complimentary dessert. Dinner was served and tasted good, though we’ve enjoyed better steaks at other restaurants. After our delicious desserts we waited for check. When it arrived, experience went further down. Using a gift card for portion of charge, total amount was $5 over. Server took bill and made correction. Then, I had been told when ordering that our “special” sides were $4 each, but second check showed $5 each. Server was hesitant but took it to manager for second correction. All this took 15-20 minutes and we left disappointed. Amount was insignificant to total bill, but server should have examined bill carefully before bringing it. We will not return to Ruth’s Chris.

Excellent food and service .Manger came by table to make sure everything was good.
