Salum - Dallas

An excellent birthday dinner topped off by a carrot cake made at my request. A splendid evening.

Going to Salum is like going to a friend’s house for lunch, and your friend is a great cook. The staff are always welcoming, the owner stops by the table, the food is always excellent and menu is frequently updated. Salum is one of my go to lunch places.

Service was amazing. Food was okay nothing to write home about. Drinks we’re good. All around okay experience, not upset whatsoever just don’t think it will be a go to spot for me.

Menu did not indicate a dish had nuts. Dangerous for guests with allergies. A very bad experience.

I had an excellent vegan burger. Patty, lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, caramelized onions, and Gruyere. Absolutely delicious, juicy and full of flavor. Soggy fries just the way I like them. I know, you’re gonna cringe, but they are service oriented, and do my fries the way I like them.
