Shady's Burgers Brewhaha - Dallas

Food: the food was great. I got an order of the tailgater, the patties were cooked to perfection with the cheese and bacon harmonically melted into the crevices of the patty, beautifully sliced tomatoes and lettuce, and very generous with the pickles. the only complaint I have is that they did not put enough of their secret sauce . I want a saucy burger not a dry one. the **** oreo milkshake had me on my knees. I was supposed to be on a diet but the oreo milkshake has forever ruined my livelihood. by far one of the best oreo milkshakes I have had to date. this was the staple of my meal. I will be coming back again for that oreo milkshake. service: chad was a a very diligent young man. he was very attentive and informative. also very patient because I take forever to choose what to eat and always ask heaps of questions about the menu and the waiters personal preferences, and he handled it very elegantly. chad was a 10/10. ambiance: at first entry the restaurant is a bit informal and casual. you are free to sit anywhere you like, we chose to sit on the outside patio facing the road. it 's a very rustic type vibe with aesthetic lighting all around. if the weather is favorable, I would defiantly recommend taking a seat outside on the patio you will not regret it. xoxo gossip girl.

I don't know what I could say that would be any higher praise than if I lived closer I'd probably be there a couple to few times a week. If I had kids, I could see myself taking them there. Shady's is in a fairly quiet area, where it seems many different kids/teenagers sports games happen. You are just as likely to see friends catching up, as you are to see a Soccer team celebrating a win. That's the wild part. Not many places can cater to both audiences well. This is a place that at least in my opinion has great food, service and atmosphere, all while keeping just about all of the demographics pretty happy. To be clear, I'm not saying this is the world's best place to get a burger. But if you are looking for a place that does a pretty great job of catering to their demographics in a way that doesn't isolating them I call that an all around winner. When a close friend and I want to get out for a guys night, I have no hesitation on going to Shady's. Even if it's filled with a bunch of kids that night.

Our experience at Shady's was excellent! As a neighborhood burger joint, Shady's has a friendly atmosphere, is VERY dog friendly (even in their covered patio area, water bowl and pats provided aplenty), and excellent service. Our waitress and hostess were both very pleasant and attentive, checking in as expected. Water could have been filled more frequently, but otherwise I would give the service 5 stars. As an appetizer, we got fried pickles for the table, and this came with a GENEROUS portion, and plenty of ranch for dipping. I split both the Philly cheesesteak and the Holy Guacamole burger. The burger came out cooked to order, with a good balance of toppings and generous avocado. The Philly cheesesteak was also delicious, though both sandwiches were a little heavy on the bread. The fries were undersalted to my preference, but overall I think the food is absolutely worth the price. Will definitely come again!

I am not a huge fan of burgers, but the burger I had here at Shady's was LIFE CHANGING! It was perfectly cooked and topped with white cheddar, grilled jalapeños, and avocados. The combination of toppings on the burger went together so perfectly. The fresh cut fries were also delicious! There is no way I could have eaten it all, but it was just as good the next day as leftovers. I ate my food inside and the service was good and the food came out quickly. It was a very casual spot so I felt just fine eating my sloppy burger how I wanted... without feeling judged lol. It was a great experience!

Shady's is your neighborhood go to spot for great burgers and wraps! Also the fish and chips are excellent. The service is prompt and always friendly. Sit outside in nice weather and forget you are in an urban environment.
