Every time my family order food from here, we are filled with well seasoned, deliciously flavored, consistently delicious dishes. First of all, I would give this restaurant a 5 star. That means this week we placed a delivery order for malai kofta and mattar disc cleaner. I ate the matte wiper and sat down a little hard. After I spit out the food right away, I saw that what I did was a RAZOR BLADE. I was disgusting and disturbed by the potential health effects of eating a blade I was almost trying to post it on social media immediately. But as such a big fan of the restaurant I wanted to give them a chance to explain before going on. Today I drove to Shivas, proved with the razor in the court. I wanted to talk to the manager or the owner. The bartender said he was the manager. I showed him my food at what point he said he would take it to his boss. He went back, spoke to a gentleman who sat on a table on the back for about 5 minutes, came back and apologised (more from obligation not sincere) for the blade and offered to repay my money. He only said that something like this happened, although he had never heard of a razor found in food, he had occasionally heard of rubber bands from the products. He refunded me $16 cash (the cost of the dishes are $16.50 not including taxes or the cost of delivery). He gave no insight into how this happened at all or how he would investigate to see what happened this night. The boss he talked to never came here to apologize. It is very obvious that customer service is not a priority for this facility, even if you are served and end up eating a razor blades in your food. I will refuse to order from here again and again and I am very concerned about the health codes/standards of their kitchen after this has happened.
When someone was familiar with South Asian food, I have to say that the food was normal. The Samosas were dry and the food was added to Curry, no regional specialties just the kind of farewell you can get at a meal, all you can get indian buffet.
They told me that my reservation was for the next night when I arrived and it was NOT for the next night. They told me they were closed when I got in, on time for my reservation that was for THAT NIGHT. Right. They had 6 people standing there, who could teach us, and they would have accepted the reservation if they were closed as they say. And what the chops say was for the next night. Check the app, DEF for the night I arrived. Pitiful Service and NO WAY to handle it at all. I'm NOT HAPPY. I should get a preferred treatment if they want to keep me as a customer.
The food was disappointing. Pretty salty and glutinous.
Solid Indian food (and this is coming from an Indian girl!! . Would definitely recommend for casual dining or take out. We will be back
