Quality food which is deliciously handled and create an authentic
The restaurant offers a wide variety of Middle Eastern food options, spices, hot dishes, and a well-stocked meat market. They also have a great selection of fresh produce, as well as a well-stocked freezer and cold food section. Their pita bread is always freshly baked. The store is kept very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful, especially if you are unsure of what to choose. They will happily answer any questions you may have about their products. The only downside is that parking can sometimes be difficult.
Living in Dallas, Texas, has its perks!! Our family seeks out new cultural experiences grocery stores, food events) to learn more about the world outside our own. This was a fabulous adventure! We took a few hours to visit Sarahs Market and ate lunch at their S Grill. The market is very small, but every inch of its space is very special. First, we found our way to the back corner and sat at a tiny countertop with only 4 chairs. The counter faces an open top grill, and you 're able to talk/ watch the chefs make the food. The menu is limited and pricey! We ordered one steak kabob $26.00). The steak was served medium rare, very juicy, on top of a long rice similar to rice pasta), and it was coated in a delicious seasoning completely unfamiliar to us. It came with roasted tomatoes purple onion. You can select from several sides, we picked the hummus. It was a huge portion, enough for 2 people. The chef was so pleased to have us and was very impressed that we were there to learn. He gave us many generous sized samples of the sides and sauces they offered. Everything was made in-house, from scratch with fresh ingredients from their grocery store. It was a wonderful experience! The bakery aspect of this location is a small glass display case full of sweets, like macaroons, cheesecake baklava, and more. Most of them were new to us. The pastry chef gave us a few samples that had us buying a bunch to take home, lol.We strolled through the grocery store part of the market before leaving and bought a few items we already enjoyed. The difference was buying things that are made in-house, like pita bread. You can definitely see, smell, and taste the difference. A FIVE STAR review for their authenticity, hospitality, and delicious fresh food. If you 're in the area you 've got to try the Grilled Kabobs.
This is probably the best Greek food I've had. Everything is fresh! We've had the hummus, pita, steak, chicken, vegetables THE best French macaroons! There are 4 stools to sit on as you wait or you can also eat there. It's fun to watch them prepare food and chat with patrons. S Grill is a little hidden. It's actually in Sara's Market Bakery. When you enter the grocery store, S Grill is in the back corner, past the butcher. One would order them when you get your food, you pay at the grocery store's register. They do not sell any coffee or drinks so bring your own or Sara's grocery store does have a few options. The gentleman that takes your order is extremely forgetful. So check your order. For salads and plates he will forget utensils with the hummus he forgets to give the pita bread every single time. If you have to ask for items, he gets a little annoyed, so be careful. The menu on the counter has incorrect pricing or I was overcharged, one of the two.
