Sum Dang Good Chinese - Dallas

For a Friday night it was DEAD, no reason to have a resy. The biggest issue with this place is the service, from hostess to bar to waitstaff. I never say this, but as a former waitress I feel they are well aware and give 0%. Our waitress was sooo slow and we were her only table. She and everyone we interacted with were almost annoyed we were there interrupting their social time or making them work. Not 1 smile in 2.5 hours. Food wasn't bad but also not great. Everything came out not very hot temperature more warm-ish. I again, feel this falls on service as it means our food sat waiting too long before it came to table. We mainly ordered dimsum and various cocktails...assorted dumplings including soup. Management change is much needed here.

Save yourself the trouble and skip out on this place. Mid at best. I would like to start out with that the service is decent, atmostphere is okay, and cleanliness is adequate. However, the price you are paying for is not aligning with the quality of the food. Chinese fast food provides the same quality, if not better, than this place for a much better price and not to mention more generous portions. I can only give 2 stars because the waiter was nice to us. BUT overall this place has very slow service, the food is NOT GOOD. Panda Express honestly is a whole lot more Authentic . Sad to say, My fried rice taste like it had been sitting there for 2 days, it was not fresh. Our meat taste like it was microwaved. The ending price for us was over $80.00 for some dang nasty food. Never again. Food was terrible.

The service was absolutely horrendous, we saw our server maybe 2 times through out the whole dinner. Water never refilled. Food was ok, but nothing special

Ate outside under canopy on a gorgeous day. Quick and super service throughout our visit. The food was a bit bland. Chicken and broccoli sauce was watery. Chicken cashew had zero nuts in it. I was engaged in a conversation so didn't notice until half way through... will likely visit again for location and atmosphere. But have lowered expectations for food
