The Empanada Cookhouse - Dallas

Smelled like cleaning products which is a big pet peeve of mine, but service was great! The lead cashier was funny and cute ?. Food was average. The actual pastry was delicious but the fillings were not great.

Atmosphere is perfect. Great music, a good variety of seating options. Love the art on the walls, everything was on point. Now onto the food, that I can easily say was some of my favorite empanadas I’ve ever had. I got the beef chimichurri and Al pastor and both were phenomenal. No hesitation to come back

I've been craving empanadas and was surprised to find this spot on a trip to Dallas. With Fried plantains, and sweet and savory choices on menu, it was a great way to experience a variety of flavors. The dulce de leche empanada was wonderful.
