The Hall Bar & Grill - Dallas

The food was decent. However, I was disappointed that there was no bread or macaroni available. I like to have some carbs with my steak, and the restaurant didn't have a good selection for the prices they charge. Additionally, the coleslaw had a strange taste.

We all ordered the ribeye, and it was excellent. The crab cake appetizer was also delicious. The food was very good overall. We enjoyed the atmosphere, which had a blend of a sports bar and a upscale steakhouse. It was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is casual in dress code, with great food and drinks.

We were searching for a nice restaurant to bring our out-of-town friends to, and we were disappointed to have chosen The Hall. The fries were overly salty, the spinach artichoke dip was not mixed well, and the fish was too greasy. The steak, ordered medium rare, was extremely rare. The waitress, though attentive, failed to inform us that gratuity had been added to the bill. We had a party of 6 adults and 2 infants, with only one check showing the added gratuity. It should have been made clear to everyone without needing to ask. As someone who has worked in the service industry, this felt deceptive. This experience fell far short of what we expected for a $500 meal. My wife even remarked that we could have had a similar experience at a budget chain restaurant. Based on our experience, I am surprised that this place has a rating above 3 stars on Google.

Great food. Extremely large liquor selection. 2 TVs at long bar but not sure if can get sound. Pricey but staff was fun and entertaining. Rosa is a hoot!

Went in because I wanted a steak where I could sit at the bar and watch some football in a relaxed atmosphere. This place was definitely that. My bartender/server was really nice and was easy to talk to. The food on the other hand was mediocre for theprice. I ordered the prime rib cooked to medium. The steak resembled more of a steak from a diner and the steak was way overcooked. For the price of the steak I couldn't believe what i received it was not worth it. On the plus side....the the sidesalad was decent and the grilled vegetable that came with the steak was my favorite. It had great flavor and was cooked well. Iprobably will not come back again.
