The Reserve - Dallas

The food was cold and lacked flavor. The drinks were small for the price we paid. Service was extremely slow, despite the fact that we were the only table in the room. The only highlight was the Tres Leche cake, which was really good.

The service was exceptional, the food was better than average, and the location was fantastic. I would definitely come back.

The menu looked appealing and promised a great meal, but unfortunately, it didn't deliver. The chips were store-bought, and the salsa was mediocre at best. The restaurant was nearly empty for a 12:30 PM lunch, and to my surprise, they had "run out" of mole for the enchiladas. I opted for the Chile Relleno with beef, but it arrived strangely flattened—like it had been cooked on a flat grill rather than deep-fried—and I couldn't taste or see any beef at all. My lunch companions had similar disappointing experiences. Given that this place is supposed to be a higher-end version of the Taxco company, I expected much more. It’s unfortunate, but I won’t be returning. There’s no reason for a second chance, and I doubt this place will last long.
