Zaguan Latin Café Bakery - Dallas

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The South American cuisine is truly excellent—I particularly loved the chicken cheese cachapas. Unfortunately, the waitstaff was quite lacking. When we requested water at the table, the waiter would only bring a glass for one person and then would vanish for 30 to 45 minutes. Even when we asked for water for everyone, he would still only bring one additional glass to the table. It was quite perplexing.

It's definitely a place to visit if you're looking for unique and interesting dishes.

I was in Dallas for professional development sessions, and before heading back to Houston, I wanted to enjoy some delicious food at Zaguán! The dishes were flavorful, and the smoothie juices were just right for the warm weather.

The arepas were soo good! I love malta polar, which they also had. The staff was great and they have a section of grocery items, like the corn meal to make arepas. Would definitely revisit!

My daughter took me and her mom for lunch today. Food was ok but service not ok. Wanted water refill asked three times but the waitress never responded. Then my daughter asked for salsa and she had to literally go to the cashier and get it! Very poor service in my view
