Baldo's Ice Cream - Dallas/Ft Worth AP

I am so happy to have them in Casa Linda. The ice cream is wonderful. But I have to say they are closed most of the time I go by. They used to have longer hours and there was usually a sticky note saying they would be right back. Which meant they were down at Starbucks most the time. But now they have shorter hours and they are still doing notes on the door. I've been there twice this week and the sign says closed for maintenance. I'm afraid if they want open their doors for business they want be there much longer!

What happened!? A few years ago, I tried the ice cream at the hillcrest location and was highly impressed. This time around, almost every flavor was sterile of any flavor. I had to make sure I didnt have a stopped up nose because nothing was registering for the majority of the flavors I sampled. A sad day to see that the product they serve now is mediocre at best.

Cute little spot for ice cream. We went closer to closing one night and they were out of most of their flavors, but what we did get was good. I really want to come back and try their flights.

I hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses but this ice cream wasn't good. I had coffee Oreo and it tasted like creamy sugar with Oreo. No coffee flavor at all. Definitely need to taste test before buying. Unfortunately I didn't do that. Disappointed.

Nice little ice cream shop we checked out. They were unfortunately out of a lot of flavors. Went with their truck or treat flavor and it was good! Not super amazing, but good. More of a 4.5/5. Their affagato is good!
