They did a great job, and they were super flexible with pickup (which is great if you’re like me and say 12 but show up at 1). They also were SO SWEET and gave my husband a complimentary cupcake because he wanted a treat for the drive. Overall a great local bakery, definitely use them!
An extremely late review… but I had to comment on how tasty and beautiful these last minute cakes were. Another baker cancelled 1 day before my nephew’s birthday and she saved the day! The owner is extremely sweet and helpful and everything she baked was made with love. I plan on ordering her champagne cake for my birthday this fall. I would recommend Daisy cakes to anyone!
We had the BEST experience working with Daisy Cakes! They designed a cake that looked like our parents 1990 wedding cake, for their surprise anniversary party. They were so so lovely to work with and the cake came together perfectly!!! Highly recommend!
Man what! People its ya boi check this out.I stumbled on a to a real life bakery. I walked in wanting a little something sweet for later and man did I ever get my wish! I walked in andImmediately the aroma of cake batter hit me. And man let met tell you . You know what you have to hit up Daisy cakes love it.
We are new to Dallas and Daisy Cakes caught my eye the first time I drove past it. The name was cute, and I adore a good cupcake. As I was walking up, I realized the true variety of flavors and cakes. There were cake examples for many different celebrations, and I was struck that each was treated with the same detail dedication. Many of the decorated examples truly shared a sense of wonder and whimsy. I'm already planning parties around cakes in my head! The employee behavior and customer service was excellent. I loved the person I believe is the owner, because he was genuine, open, and friendly in a way that is hard to find today. Every other employee fell into a category I respect deeply: hustling, focused, perfectionist, etc. These were artists working hard, so they didn't talk to customers as much. What I saw was a team. Any question, outside the simplest, was discussed through the team in this shorthand of eye contact and single words while they raced to complete items safely. The answer, when given, was provided with a look to verify understanding, with more indepth explanations offered to clear any confusion. It was like, outside the owner, customer service wasn't their focus, but they provided it innately out of respect for people. Now to the yummy part. My husband and I picked up 6 cupcakes, and the 90+ degree Dallas weather hit them quickly, but I included pictures from after we made it home. We've only tried the chocolate peanut butter so far, but wow. The cake itself was rich and lush, moist but firm, and the sounds we made over that perfect cake..... The frosting qualified as decadent. It was sweet and flavorful with a light, velvety texture, but it avoided being over sweet. Overall, the Chocolate Peanut butter cupcake is a rich, delicious cake with a perfect balance between chocolate and peanut butter. I've never really considered the balance of those flavors, but with this cupcake, it was like neither flavor was overwhelming, like they blended perfectly into an entirely new flavor! In these pics, there are chocolate peanut butter, champagne, and red velvet. If you grab one of the other flavors let me know what you think!!
