The only problem with Dr. Fish is it is wholesale only. Open 9-7 Mon-Fri as of this writing. If you have a wholesalers license then more power too ya, bring on the sashimi!
Taste (A , Food Presentation (N/A , Creativity (N/A , Portion/Value (A , Service (B- , Atmosphere (D WARNING: This place is not in exactly the nicest part of town. It is in industrial garage center and has a big guard dog out front but I don 't think the dog is doing such a great job guarding anything. This is the place to go if you want sushi wholesale, where the sushi restaurants buy their supplies and you want to have a real sushi party. I have been a customer of this place since its inception in another location. I feel almost like I am giving away the family secret with this place. Jimmy Cho, the owner, will even do sashimi platters and orders for you but you need to order early. Jimmy does not speak English fluently but he has younger guy that helps with orders if you need to order. I make the journey down there when I want a big order of yellow tail or uni (sea urchin eggs or tuna (maguro . If you like high grade caviar then you will die for uni.
Muy buena
