Ordered takeout Chicken La Madeleine and Balsamic Glazed Salmon with Green beans almond one and rice. Also ordered Coconut cake slice. First thing they are out of coconut cake, but charged us anyway. Green beans tasted awful. Almost like they were old. I might return for breakfast and pastry items in future, but will try another location.
I visit this restaurant primarily for their lemon tarts, which are absolutely delightful. I genuinely adore them. I typically come to this location at least once a week to enjoy a lemon tart with whipped cream on top.
Unfortunately, this location does not resemble a La Madeleine, nor does it capture the essence of the brand, and the food lacks the familiar flavors. The Chicken Friand seemed to have been sitting for a while before being reheated, resulting in a pastry that was neither flaky nor fresh, and a bit soggy. The quiche was overcooked, likely due to reheating, and definitely did not meet expectations. On the positive side, the Cherry and Greek yogurt Danish, as well as the Chocolate Croissant, were enjoyable. Despite my fondness for La Madeleine, I won't be returning to this location. It's not a good representation of the concept; it might be better to rebrand it entirely.
I had to wait a long time for someone to take my order. There was no greeting or eye contact, just mumbling from the staff member, who was wearing earbuds. When he finally brought my food, he simply set the plate down and turned to walk back to the counter. The wild mushroom soup tasted strange, and the salad was wilted. This place has zero customer service, and there were only two other customers present. I won’t be returning.
