Read this before you buy -the lady owner who takes orders complains about working told us husband cook was tired at 1:15pm so she keeps ridiculous, unpredictable business hours. While waiting for food she made highly offensive racial comment stating that -it was good my child had whiter- not black or brown skin tone. I was shocked!!Black, Mexican Brown people have made her wealthy! (There are other more delicious, Chinese restaurants who keep their posted hours. She MUST keep her clearly stated, direct racial comments to herself) Next, while We heard they are doing a little better on open hours; if tired- hire qualified help- who is courteous respectful of peoples race complexion. So be open, be nice-or- go home rest realize-she is an Asian minority- keep racism racial thoughts to self! Run business. Serve good food. Be professional!

Best Chinese food in the grove!!! So glad this place is still open. Came here a few weeks back and thought they were closed forever. Besides the minor inconveniences the food here is delicious!! Absolute must try ;

Best authentic Chinese restaurant in Dallas!! Good price, good service. Order the orange mandarin chicken you won 't regret it! Dine in to really get the freshness!! Bring cash they don 't take cards.

Will not be going back!!!! The food is not good to me like the other people are saying. Shrimp fried rice had no flavor the Chow mein looked like ramen noodles and the rice with it was plain no veggies seasoning nothing and paying $14 for it was not worth it. I will not not not not not go back.

I've lived in Dallas for most of my life and grew up enjoying Lai Lai's Chinese food. My family's usual was orange chicken and the combination lo mein, which was my personal favorite. I always ate the leftovers for breakfast! Portions are huge and everything is always hot and delicious. I'm 40 years old now and have lived in 8 different states and visited 35 of them, and have yet to find such tasty lo mein. A hidden gem in pleasant Grove.
