Rick's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

I always enjoy dining at Rick's! The food is just as fantastic as ever, making it a great option for a budget-friendly and hassle-free meal.

The burgers here are fantastic, and while the fries are decent, you might want to add some salt to suit your taste. There was a 15-minute wait after ordering, which is to be expected at smaller burger places. The atmosphere is enjoyable, with charming posters and pictures adorning the walls. However, I do have to dock points for some water-stained pictures that need replacing and for the unpleasant smell in the bathroom, which resembles fermented urine.

This is the best place in Texas! I absolutely love the chili burger and fries.

I’m on a Keto diet, and they were very accommodating to my needs. The turkey was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I ordered by phone for two days in a row, and a lovely lady remembered my order—the service was outstanding. I will definitely be going back!

Everything was fantastic and fresh! My mom, aunt, and I ordered the weekly special combo for me, while my mom opted for the old-fashioned cheeseburger, and my aunt chose the loaded chili cheese fries to share with my toddler cousin. The special I had (shown in the picture) was a burger topped with BBQ sauce and all the veggie fixings, and it was delicious. The fries aren't pre-salted, but they provide plenty of salt, pepper, and ketchup for you to add yourself. The homemade ranch that came with the chili cheese fries was truly exceptional. I can definitely see why this place is considered a local favorite!
