Unfortunately yesterday everything we ordered oddly taste like sour cream we were very disappointed. I have the cornbread stuffing it taste like sour cream the macaroni and cheese taste like sour cream and so did the broccoli rice casserole. The environment is nice the staff is very friendly and professional I don?t know what happened with the food yesterday.
Great friendly staff and superior service. The food smelled and looked good. The portions were large and well worth the price. I had to drive over an hour to get home to dive into the food. We had the fried catfish and baked chicken with sweet potatoes, greens, mac cheese, dressing. The desserts are a must, German chocolate cake, peach cobbler, pecan pie and a mini chess pie. This food so hit the spot, it was so good. Well worth the drive from McKinney.
Ok tried them for the first time and spent over 100. 00 bucks on 4 horrible dinners. The Salisbury steak was a big hunk of dry distasteful hamburger meat with no taste, fried chicken absolutely no seasoning (what black person doesn?t know how to season chicken) greens not seasoned, cabbage to spicy. Top it off the staff have nerve enough to have bad attitudes serving this nasty food. Don?t waste ur time or money with this joint. This is why it?s hard to support us !!!
I got the smothered steak and it was chewy and more bone then meat. The dinning area was good. Nobody seem to know the prices for anything. I spent $18 for a bone yams and greens. My husband got the special which was chicken fried steak for almost $8. He was not happy. We drove from fort Worth just to visit them....... Will I go back? No thank you
Omg...everything was delicious. All the veggies were on point. Service was great. Place was packed. Always a sign of great food.
