Taqueria El Tocallo

It was my first time trying this place. Upon, walking in I noticed it 's a CASH ONLY Place. They Team were informative on letting us know they were out of certain foods. I 'm guessing this place sells certain meats til they sell out, so make sure to get there early. I ordered a Torta de Pastor which i give it a 8.5 rating. It was delicious, but i feel like this order could of came with some French fries. But the Torta was Delicious. I also ordered a GORDITA DE CHICHARRON and GORDITA DE PASTOR . I give both a rating on 9. They both tasted absolutely delicious. But the plate could of came with sides or Rice and Beans. At least!!! Overall The food was Great, The Service was On Point!! I highly recommend This Place!

I don’t give this place even one star they raise the prices on their food and they’re serving. They’re so SMALL they don’t even fill you up. I ordered a quesadilla plate and they told me when they handed my order that there was no beans they could’ve told me that before I ordered and second of all they said double ricE BUT there was no double rise. It was maybe one scoop for the rice and that to me is not a double serving of rice, pictures below . I will never go back in order from this place where I have been going to for the past year or 2. But they just ended my service with them. Didn’t fill me up!!

Had such a wonderful experience here. Originally came to this restaurant as I saw a TikTok post from the owner's niece. The owners were so wonderful and attentive to make sure we enjoyed everything. My dad ordered the steak quesadillas while I ordered the torta al pastor. The meat was cooked wonderful in both and the sauces on the table wet great. There is a great amount of options for everyone based on what spice level you like. We order jarritos with our meal but were curious to drive the agua frescas they offered. The owner ended up bringing us samples of the drinks to our table. We tried the pineapple and strawberry drinks, and ended up ordering them to go. The restaurant has very nice artwork and was very clean as well. There is also an elote stand outside of the restaurant.

I originally went a couple of months ago and I believe I met the owner who was a really nice lady ordered my food ate my tacos and rice and beans in the restaurant and the food was pretty good. I just went back yesterday and the food was horrible!!! I ordered 5 tacos, 3 barbacoa and 2 pastor. The barbacoa was all fat and looked old and tasted gross! The pastor was dry and tasted like bottom of the pan. I took my tacos back and asked for my money back and the man gave me my money back bo questions asked but I was extremely disappointed and asked him “is this how all your tacos are?” And he said “ yes that’s how they come.” I know that’s a lie because they definitely didn’t look/taste like that the last time. I have pictures below for reference and you will see. I will never go back again and have told many people not to as well.
