However, the service was pretty bad...verging on rude. We stood at the front door for5+ minutes with empty tables in plain sight and zero interaction with anyone at the restaurant (not even a We 'll be with youin a minute , even as three of the staff chatted each other up in one corner, laughing and cajoling, while other wait staffwalked past us to the bar to get drinks for other customers. So there were plenty of folks who could have helped us, but we mademore eye contact with the other patrons than with any of these staff it felt a bit like we were clueless strangers crashing aprivate party. When we finally were seated, we were yet again left alone for several minutes...without menus, without water, without a thought. Finally the bartender rescued us, offering us menus and drinks. He was great going out of his way (quiteliterally, as we weren 't at the bar to be friendly and helpful. And again, the food, when we finally got some, was excellent. But really, a bit of front of the house training is probably in order before we would ever want to dine in at Dewey 's again. Next time, we will probably just get some food to go.

Great local restaurant. Chef does a great job with creative menu ideas.
Amazing place to stop and eat, great atmosphere. The staff is friendly. The food changes weekly and is amazing. Occasionally they have wine dinners with pairing and its amazing. I highly recommend this place. Craft beers on tap and in cans. Martinis are spot on! Great views across the street.
