Dae Jang Geum Tofu House - Daly City

On December 16, 2023, my group of four dined in for dinner. The restaurant was half empty at 6:30PM. We ordered Crab Soon Tofu (white), Soon DooBoo Gal Bi (Chicken tofu stew, white, Beef Short Ribs), and Pork Dolsot (Bibimbap). While I personally prefer mild tofu stew, my group opted for the white version. I found the crab tofu stew to be better than the chicken, and the beef short ribs were my favorite. The bibimbap was also quite good, as were the banchans. I would recommend paying in cash for a 5% discount if possible.

The soup was extremely hot and delicious. The appetizers were also satisfying. The Korean side dishes were decent. Returned for a second visit and tried other dishes, but the tofu soup still stood out as excellent.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. It wasn't too crowded so we were seated immediately. The interior was lovely and inviting. The service was excellent, and they even brought us extra napkins during our meal without us needing to request them. I appreciate when places go the extra mile like that. Overall, it was a great experience and I am looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. I highly recommend it!

This spot is a must to get your Korean BBQ fix. Their lunch prices are great, the food came out really quickly, and the flavors were on point. The Kalbi Shortribs and Bulgogi beef with unlimited ban chan sides hit the spot! Definitely coming back.

Perfectly cooked meat, well-seasoned food. This is our go-to Korean restaurant.
