This place is a wild ride. they steam fish right at your table, whipping up a chinese paella that 's real tasty. In the corner, a blend your own sauce station that lets you be the Willy Wonka of dips delivering tasty concoctions for all.The wall are plastered with 'Finding Nemo ' scene, so probably not the romantic vibe you might expect of a place that asks for a Benjamin per head but hey, they 'll probably let you write your and your crush 's name on it if you ask nice. The menu? Full of depressed looking fish who looked way cheerier in the tanks guess they aren 't the photogenic type... Anyhow, each of these bad boys was fresh like a Guido in a jersey shore nightclub when brought to the table.Service? Top tier, friendly as can be.It 's a bit of a rollercoaster, but it lands a solid five stars. Fish out!
Unique steam pot place originating out of Canton region of China. This is the perfect place if you enjoy fresh unseasoned foods (no sodium nor grease! You make your own sauces just like hot pot restaurants. You choose either a soup base or a congee base, the steam from the base is what cooks the meats and veggies you order!Food: 3/5
Food is great, but definitely on the expensive side. They will ask you to choose a soup base, which will be steamed at the bottom of the pot and served at the end in a porridge form, so don't be full before getting to the porridge which is very filling! On top of the soup base, they will ask you to order seafood, which will be steamed. We ordered a selection of clams as well as fish, which in hindsight is definitely two much for 2 people. The seafood are not seasoned for the fresh taste, but there are sauces at a small corner, which I do recommend getting unless you are shooting for just the fresh taste of the seafood. Ended up spending ~$90 per person after tax and tip. Although the food tastes great, since they are just steamed, I wonder if I can also just buy fresh seafood from the market and cook myself to reach the same taste..
Extremely over priced. Food is ok but not worth the price at all. You can buy the same seafood at half price and steam at home and get the same thing.
