Maikaew Damnoen Resort - Damnoen Saduak

Great weekend relaxing hotel not far from Bangkok. It is located on the river, close to the floating market and surrounded by farms. The outdoor space is shady, there is a lot of water and a lot of fish. As for mosquitoes and other insects, there are none in the coconut village and teak house. Coconut village villa is spacious, bed is comfortable, bathroom is amazing with good quality toiletries. For dinner there is Spring 22 restaurant with a unique design and good cuisine. Asian meal is better than European, but the drinks are simply divine.

It’s a lovely resort, very beautiful with great cabins, we came back because we stayed here a few years ago and liked it then. However, this time a bit lacking, food only available in room. Wi-Fi had no internet access, reported it but nothing happened, we understand the impact of Covid but it’s just not good enough these days to charge this much for the room and not have a basic thing like adequate Wi-Fi

Really lovely little resort walking distance from the floating market. Clean and quality Aircon unit, but most importantly a wonderful bathtub, and very nice pool. Food was delicious as well.

Good location, i.e. near Damneon Sadouk city and Damneon Dadouk floating market. The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Room, coffee shop, restaurant, and all areas are clean. Beakfast is good. The price is little bit higher than other properties in this city but this resort is the best.

Next to the canal and boats are really noisy (and start early). Unable to relax. Staff make you pay more for the massage that was published. You will have to negociate. This should not be in a hotel... Good food but pricy
