Robeks Fresh Juices Smoothies - Danbury

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant! I waited 25 minutes for an acai bowl, and to add insult to injury, they were serving customers who arrived after me. I had to ask about my order several times. I can't imagine returning there; waiting that long for a simple fruit bowl is just not acceptable. The staff appeared indifferent to the needs of the customers. I wasn’t the only one who was unhappy that day.

Convenient and fantastic! Without a doubt, they offer the best smoothies and bowls in the area. I love the variety of options available and the high-quality, fresh ingredients used in everything from Robeks. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly.

The food here is tasty, but I can't recommend this restaurant if you have allergies. We specifically asked for no granola and no honey in the açaí bowl, which was meant to be topped with strawberries and bananas. Unfortunately, it came with honey and just bananas. When we pointed this out to the staff, they insisted that we hadn't ordered the strawberries and that we would need to pay extra for them. Overall, if you have allergies, it's best to avoid this place, as they seem to struggle with following instructions—a crucial requirement for a restaurant of this nature.

I don’t visit this area frequently, but I always make it a point to stop by for the “Polar Pineapple Express” with ginger when I do. Unfortunately, my experience today has left me hesitant about returning. There were about four employees present, none of whom were wearing gloves, and they all had serious expressions with little to no friendly interaction. The cashier who took my order was courteous, but when I received my smoothie, I asked one of the staff whether ginger was included. She didn’t check or seem to remember but confidently assured me that it was there. To my disappointment, there was NO GINGER in the smoothie. Mistakes happen, but if a customer asks and you're unsure, it’s better to be honest. I considered going back inside, but it seemed pointless; none of the staff looked happy to be working there. It seems that all good things must come to an end.

I feel amazing all day long after having one of these acai bowls. They’re delicious and give me a wonderful energy boost!
