The Kitchen At Lakeside - Danbury

We decided after work to go to Lakeside for happy hour 5-6 5 oclock there were two employees serving drinks. Asked where is the menu and was told they did not have any food we should wait for the owner to come back after shopping, The employee was texting someone but after 7:00 we left, How can you advertise happy hour with food on a Friday if you have no food to offer. Several times we asked the server what do you have and was told we could have a hamburger , sweet potato fries or poppers but she purposely avoided taking our order and wasn 't interested in cooking which she said she would have to do., How do you run a business like this? My settings say I 'm from CA but I 'm from Danbury. If you going for happy hour, stop at McDonald 's and get something because your not getting it there. Several people were asking Where is the food

After living in the area for a few years we finally made it to Lakeside Pub and we are very happy that we did. We’ve been back a few times and always enjoy the atmosphere, the great food and wonderful staff.
