We came in around 7:00 PM Monday night. When we walked in the restaurant looked lively but not overly crowded. We were able to get a table right away and sat in the dining room. The atmosphere is nice, no loud music, or rowdy drunk customers. The tables are safely spaced apart so you can feel confident in dining during this pandemic. The décor is exactly what you would expect from a place named Dockers and located on the water. It was really dark out but I imagine that the dining room is lit up nicely by the large windows during the day! To drink, we ordered two waters while we looked over the beer selection. They have quite a few options and are all priced very reasonably at $6.50. They also have an assortment of craft cocktails all $10 or less. I ordered a Mangolandia Wheat from Veza Sur and my boyfriend ordered a Celebration IPA from Sierra Nevada, both of which were delicious, fresh, and poured right to the top of the glass! As a started for food we split the large Caesar salad to share because I was really craving a Caesar and it hit the spot! The lettuce was crisp, with toasty croutons and I love that they give you extra dressing on the side. On Mondays they do a $5 burger special that cannot be beat! We had low expectations because usually daily deals at restaurant will cause the quality of the item to be lower or the portion to be small. BOY WERE WE WRONG! These burgers were incredible! Cooked to a perfect medium rare and HUGE! The meal also comes with a heaping pile of hot, crispy fries. You do have to pay a dollar extra for any cheese but at that price, splurge on the cheese! We left the restaurant feeling satisfied, full, and excited to share the experience with friends the next time! I would definitely recommend dining here, especially if you love a good, cheap burger!
Just arrived back in Dania Beach and was so sad to learn this place has closed! It was an institution...such a fantastic local hangout with exceptional bartenders :
We were In search of a restaurant on the water when the Broward County restaurants finally reopened; but we didn 't want a crowd; so we chose The Historic Dockers restaurant. (I hadn 't been here In years....I guess it 's become historic since then). Anyway it wasn 't crowded. There were 2 other groups dining on a late Friday night. We were immediately welcomed, and told to sit anywhere we like. The tables are really spread apart, more than 6 ft., and there is an arrow path on the floor with one way in, and one way to exit. We chose a table overlooking the water the yachts outside. We were promptly given a small paper menu, and our server was wearing a mask; so we felt pretty comfortable. My husband and I ordered some beers and looked over the menus. They had a lot of seafood options; but I 'm not a fan of seafood. I couldn 't decide between the Philly cheesesteak or the other roast beef sandwich. The server recommended the Philly, so that 's what I ordered. The food came out really quickly and the sandwich was full of meat, cheese, veggies. It also came with a side of fries. Everything was good. My husband had the fish and chips which he enjoyed as well. I can see why Dockers has been around so long....good food, fast friendly service, reasonable prices, and nautical views. It 's also in a great location....near Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Dania, and the airport. There 's also plenty of free parking. Maybe next time I won 't wait so long between visits.
LOVED this place. It's definitely an older establishment spot so lots of locals, but very friendly patrons and staff and definitely has a low key vibe. I got everything on the Sunday specials menu lobster bisque was good but didn't have any lobster meat, though it was only $4, so ain't mad about it. Got the Fruti de Mare and oh my god, deal of the century. Loaded with clams, shrimp, octopus and scallops and was only $11!! The price honestly made it taste better for me Definitely recommend for an easy going no frills seafood joint near the marina.
Great food and friendly staff. Had been wanting to try this place for a minute but never had the right opportunity. Can in to FLL airport and traffic was backed up. I was a little hungry so decided to give Dockers a try and I was not disappointed. Small lot but when I went on a Friday evening it wasn't too crowded. The decor was what a imagined a doc bar to be. You have a great view of the Marina next door. If you are lucky you may see the marina kitty sitting on someone's boat. The day I came you crush see a double rainbow . The menu had a lot of food specials and waiter recommended the wings. They were on special for 9 bucks. I also got a fried shrimp platter that came with crisp fries. The wings were excellent. I don't ha doe spick well so the medium were more than enough for me. Staff was super friendly and engaging. A very warm feel when you come in they make you feel like more than just a customer. The owner stopped over serval times to check and make sure everything was satisfactory. They had a bunch of drinks on special as well. I just got a craft draft from their wide selection. Total dinner price was less than 30 for two people with drinks included. Definitely adding them to my list of favorites.
