Captain Cook - Danville

2/1/24 My first visit: I took my family to Captain Cook's to celebrate my father's birthday. It was a party of 13. The place was very clean and spacious! The hosts acknowledged us as soon as we walked in, and our table was available immediately! When we got to our table, I felt the air from the ceiling fan, and before I could say anything, the host already knew and turned off the fan! She was paying attention! Wow! Our waitress was very pleasant and personable, listened carefully to our requests, and was quickly accommodating. It was like she was reading our minds. And the food???? FRESH, HOT, and DELICIOUS! To end the evening, the price was great for the quality and quantity of food we received! We were comfortable and didn't feel rushed! Thanks to the entire Captain Cook's Staff for a great dining experience to celebrate my father's birthday. I will visit again when I'm in town! 5/5

Best seafood we have had in a long time, service was excellent. The seafood was so fresh you could tell in every bite. Price was awesome for all the food we got on the Captain Cooks platter. Our only complaint was they don't have a restaurant in Richmond were we live!!!

This food will surprise you! It is sooo good! I ordered the captains platter. Largest shrimp I've ever seen, and delicious. Prime juicy, plump oysters,. The crab cake was very good. 3 or4 pieces of fried fish that I brought home. Very good quality seafood and well prepared. I loved the round hush puppies.
