Bacon wrapped scallops are absolutely fantastic (you'll want to order a couple of that appetizer). I tried the Delmonico and Crab legs. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. And the crab legs tasted like they were walking that morning! My love had a New Orleans inspired pasta and shrimp dish. It was perfect the right amount of spice without being over powering. One note I'd like to make, we've been to other Louisiana style restaurants and then tend to be loud and a lil wild trying to get that Mardi gras feel. This place is more elegant, and perfect for a romantic night out. Think smooth jazz as opposed to Zydeco jazz. Not to say it's not a family friendly place, it's just a lil classier than other similar restaurants.
Hidden Gem! We lived here for 6 years and never went because we thought it was a bar to be honest never gave it a second look based on outside appearances we were pleasantly surprised!!! We just returned from New Orleans and this food rivaled (and perhaps exceeded) restaurants we visited there. We had the Tenderloin New Orleans, Sausage Gumbo, Steamed Crawfish, and Jumbalaya. Nothing was disappointing! Hands down the tenderloin with a crab cake on top was phenomenal. With that said, come prepared that entrees will be $20 $30 each. We went on a very busy night, so we knew up front we would be there a while (and our waitress 'Jamie ' was up front about that) but even still, our service was impeccable. She anticipated our needs (and perhaps even things we didn 't think of before she thought of them). The owner, Brian, came out, met us, and chatted for a while. Needless to say, we will be back!
I had a delicious dinner featuring perfectly cooked steak and seafood. The atmosphere was comfortable, relaxing, and great for families. It’s advisable to make reservations on weekends, especially for larger groups. I highly recommend this place!
About a month ago, I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was quite enjoyable. The only downside was the wait time, which was a bit long, but given how busy they were, it was completely reasonable. The prices were slightly on the higher side, but in the end, every penny was worth it. I would definitely come back!
Cajun was very good. Our steaks were overcooked, but they did it right by knocking out a few dollars. Too bad because I think it would have been excellent. The Cajun sampler we had was indeed 'outstanding'. We're definitely going back, the foundation's really brilliant. Every place that appears like it is a place where you want to go.
